20000 and 30000 series Lego Star Wars

Continuing my attempt to deconstruct most of my smaller Lego Star Wars sets, I'm now onto "polybags".  I'm starting with the 200## and 30### sets which covers most of the polybags released since 2008.

Starting with the 20000s, all of which are rebuilds in my collection as these are pretty hard to come by:

  • 20006 Clone Turbo Tank (2008).  Apparently a random Brickmasters giveaway in the US
  • 20007 Republic Attack Cruiser (2009).  As above
  • 20009 AT-TE Walker (2009). Also Brickmasters exclusive but available from "shop at home" in the UK
  • 20010 Republic Gunship (2009) As for 20009
  • 20016 Imperial Shuttle (2010) Another Brickmasters exclusive
  • 20018 AT-AT Walker (2010). Another Brickmasters exclusive
  • 20019 Slave I (2011). Yet another Brickmasters exclusive
  • 20021 Bounty Hunter Assault Gunship (2011) Guess what...Brickmaster's exclusive

So, I realise now that all of these were basically Brickmasters exclusives!  Which now begs the question... what is/was Brickmasters?  Apparently, it was a US Lego magazine that went defunct in 2011!

On to the 30000s:

  • 30004 Battle Droid on STAP (2009) UK Daily Mirror giveaway
  • 30005 Imperial Speeder Bike (2009) Ditto (but also sold in UK supermarkets)
  • 30006 Clone Walker (2009) Ditto (but also sold in UK supermarkets)
  • 30050 Republic Attack Shuttle (2010) Sold in the US at Target (and also giveaway at TRU)
  • 30051 Mini X-wing (2011) UK newspaper giveaway and sold in the US at Target
  • 30052 AAT (2011) Sold in Target.  Remarkably expensive now due to the turntable
  • 30053 Republic Attack Cruiser (2011) As for 30051
  • 30054 AT-ST (2011). As for 3005
  • 30055 Vulture Droid (2011).  Target (US) and The Sun giveaway (UK)

  • 30275 TIE Advanced Prototype (2015) Denmark + Sweden exclusive
  • 30276 First Order Special Forces TIE Fighter (2015) Daily Mail giveaway.  I have about 5 versions of this one
  • 30277 First Order Star Destroyer (2016). Giveaway at a UK SW celebration and to buy in US (Best Buy)
  • 30278 Poe's X-wing Fighter (2016). Free with Lego.com purchases.  Wings fall off and one of my least favourite sets!
  • 30279 Kylo Ren's Command Shuttle (2016) Similar to 30277
  • 30380 Kylo Ren's Shuttle (2018) Not clear where this one was available!
  • 30381 Imperial TIE Fighter (2018) Ditto!  But I think this might have been a Lego.com freebie
  • 30496 U-Wing Fighter (2017) Walmart in the US + other options
  • 30497 First Order Heavy Assault Walker (2017) Lego.com freebie
  • 30498 Imperial AT-Hauler (2018) Pretty sure this was another Lego.com freebie
  • 30611 R2-D2 (2017) Lego.com freebie

There are a couple of other polybags that aren't in the above series:

  • 3219 Mini TIE fighter (2002).  A mini building set so probably should have been included in my post on those
  • 6966 Jedi Starfighter (2005) "Random set of the day"... whatever that means
  • 6967 ARC Fighter (2005) ???
  • 6968 Wookie Attack (2005).  Never released as far as I can tell!
  • 8028 TIE Fighter (2008) The Sun giveaway (+others)
  • 8029 Mini Snowspeeder (2008)  Pretty hard to get hold of - not sure where it was released
  • 8031 V-19 Torrent (2008) "Random set of the day"
  • 8033 General Grievous Starfighter (2008) Daily Mirror giveaway
  • 40288 BB-8 (2018) Lego.com freebie

Anyway, some photos... firstly the 20000 series, which are definitely a quality set of polybags:

Then the 30000s (albeit missing 30053, 30246 and 30247 somewhere in the Lego cave, as well as 30381 which I mistook for a magazine giveaway):

And finally the miscellaneous polybags:
